![]() ![]() If you're primarily interested in story-progression and NPC automation (pregnancies, relationships, marriage, etc.), I recommend skipping to MC Population and working from there. You can modify just about every aspect of the game to your liking. Overall, it's an incredible mod, and if it's your first time dipping your toes into all it covers, fret not! As you get more comfortable with it, you'll be able to fine-tune your Sims experience to be exactly what you'd always hoped it would be (or pretty dang close). In my example settings, you will find I also use the mod to adjust things like Friendship Decay (the amount of time it takes for a friendly relationship to deplete) and employment percentages for each age group. It also has the ability to "clean" or remove items such as that pesky eyeball ring from NPCs' outfits. ![]() ![]() MCCC, or MC Command Center, is a mod most people use to create automated story-progression with NPCs or previously played households. Those playing on laptops, I recommend keeping groups of Sims to the game's default. If you are concerned about performance for larger groups of Sims, I've included my computer build at the bottom of this post for reference. A quick search for 'mccc sims 4 guide' brings up a few different video options that might be a better fit for you. If you are more of a visual learner, there are some videos out there that can help as well! I'm more of a reader myself. Now that I've tweaked and adjusted the mod in my game for about six months, I feel confident providing others who were like me a more detailed guide of the mod. All I really wanted was a list of settings to attain story progression in my game that also detailed exactly what each setting did. This stemmed from me originally being completely overwhelmed by the mod when I first got it. I had the idea of doing a detailed breakdown of what the mod MCCC is by Deaderpool, as well as providing my personal in-game settings detailing exactly what each of them does. I never bothered trying to do it any other way.EDIT: I have since updated this post with more categories and settings! Anything new is marked with "*NEW*". (Personally, my households usually only go over 8 through 'Try for Baby'/babies being born. The downside is that once you do this, you might have to jump through some hoops if you want to move any of those Sims back into the original household if it would make the original household larger than 8. I put the Sims I wanted to send to university in a household temporarily (you can use freerealestateon if you don't plan on having them there long term and don't want to spend simoleons on this temporary fix), then use the computer to send them to university (this is assuming you want to move them into a dorm - I don't remember, but I think I couldn't get it to let me move them into a dorm from the manage worlds screen, I think I had to use the computer once they were already living in a private dwelling). What I ended up having to do in my 10-person household was go to household manager, split the family into two (I did 7 and 3, but 8 and 2 should work as well - just have to make it so that the households are 8 or under), and then you can send them to university. I had this problem too - I assume it's because the base game only allows 8 Sims per household, and you need mods to increase that number (I use MCCC). ![]()
